Book Title: The Land of Stories The Wishing Spell (448 pages)
and
The Land of Stories The Enchantress Returns (528 pages)
Age Range:8-12 years
Author: Chris Colfer
Publisher: Little Brown and Company
These are amazing. Chris Colfer is indeed a creative person.
Chris Colfer, one of the actor in Glee, makes me want to read more and more.
The author digs into the fairytale world, making up realistic stories about them.
Sad stories, happy stories, funny stories, all of them are mixed up in one book!
The first book:
I love the first book. It’s not thick as the second one, but the stories are still great. Conner and Alex Bailey went to the other world and discovered their grandma is the fairy godmother. (SPOILER LOL SORRY)
Sarcastic yet brave Conner. Smart Alex. The Baileys finally went to their dad’s home.
The Baileys’ journey is a lot of fun to read. They went to Snow White’s castle, went to Sleeping Beauty’s castle, and even went to Red Riding Hood’s castle.
A lot of fun, lots of problems, dramatic situations, it’s just perfect.
Overall, I give 4.5 stars to the first book.

Book two:
The Enchantress is… BACK!
It’s a good book, but not as good as the first one but I could say the problems in this book are bigger. Alex and Conner’s mom is kidnapped.
The Enchantress kidnapped Conner and Alex’s mother. The Enchantress brought back Rumpelstiltskin. Rumpelstiltskin kidnapped Hope.
Oh, who’s Hope? Read the first book :P
Goldilocks and Jack are together in an unknown place, and FROGGY AND RED RIDING HOOD IS A COUPLE!
This book is just good. So 3.5 stars for this book, sorry Chris :|
